General Questions

Blazecast is a productivity application for Windows designed to streamline your workflow. It functions as an app launcher, clipboard manager, and quick actions tool, all accessible through simple keyboard shortcuts. Think of it as a command center for your PC that helps you work faster and more efficiently.

Currently, Blazecast is available for:

  • Windows 10 (64-bit)
  • Windows 11

Blazecast checks for updates automatically when it starts. When an update is available, you'll see a notification in the app. Click on the notification to install the update. You can also check for updates manually by right-clicking the Blazecast icon in the system tray and selecting "Check for updates."

The clipboard storage capacity is at 100 items for now on Beta version

Yes! You can create Quick Links for any website. Press Alt+Space to open the launcher, type "create" and press Enter. Then enter the URL. You can also give it a custom name. Once created, you can access the website by typing its name in the root search.

The Blazecast calculator supports:

  • Basic arithmetic operations for now (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

You can access the calculator by pressing Alt+Space and typing your calculation directly.

Minimum system requirements:

  • Windows 10 (64-bit) or Windows 11
  • 4GB RAM
  • 100MB free disk space
  • 1GHz processor
  • Internet connection for updates and cloud features

Blazecast is designed to be lightweight and uses minimal system resources even when running in the background.

By default, Blazecast is configured to launch automatically when you start your computer.

Yes, most of Blazecast's features work completely offline.

Blazecast is designed to be lightweight:

  • Idle memory usage: ~20-30MB
  • Active memory usage: ~40-50MB

Memory usage may increase if you store a large number of clipboard items.
